Congregational Committees

There are three Congregational Committees, as set forth by the Constitution. The Congregational Committees are responsible for the oversight of seeking qualified candidates for officers of the Congregation Council, for the financial security of the Church, for Pastoral staffing, and for conducting an ongoing dialog between the congregation and its Pastor(s).

Nominating Committee

Committee Members:
Appointed annually

Call Committee

The Call Committee conducts a search and then interviews for the position of Pastor when a replacement is needed. Members for the committee are appointed only on an as-need basis.

Mutual Ministry

The goal of the Mutual Ministry Committee is to affirm and strengthen Bethesda’s ministry by building a sense of healthy partnership, trust, and mutual support between the congregation, pastor(s), and staff.
